Sugarcane Jane – Sept. 8

Debbie Hollis Previous Performances

Sugarcane Jane is Anthony Crawford and Savana Lee —Americana’s husband-wife duo from Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Between them, they have decades of rich musical experience: Anthony is an in-demand multi-instrumentalist and producer who has worked with such notables as
Neil Young, Steve Winwood and Dwight Yoakam.
The music they make together is simple and direct, rooted in country and rock, and anchored by their sweet and soulful harmonies.
They’ll be touring with Dwight Yoakam this fall.

Here’s their website:

Our special guest for this concert is former Shreveporter Patrick Cooper.
“He writes great slice-of-life tunes in the folk/Americana tradition. They are smart, witty, and earnest, and Patrick brings a down-to-earth freshness to a realm of music that is incredibly moving when done well (as in this case) but can feel either too tired or too shiny and contrived
in the wrong hands.”
~Laura DeFazio, Offbeat Magazine – August 1, 2017
